Representatives of the European Arbitration Chamber spoke about doing business in Poland and Belgium

On September 7, 2017, at the meeting of the Committee for Foreign Economic Affairs at the Kiev Chamber of Commerce and Industry the development of economic cooperation with the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of Belgium was  discussed.

Representative of the Kiev Chamber of Commerce  in Poland and Belgium Hennadii Pampukha (President of the EAC) and the Executive Secretary of the European Arbitration Chamber Ekaterina Aaramova took part in the event.

During the meeting, issues related to the practice of entering international markets, the legal aspects of doing business with foreign counterparts, the mechanisms of communication with Polish and Belgian businessmen, legal support for members of the Kyiv CCI in 33 jurisdictions of the world were considered.

The newly appointed Representative of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce in Poland and Belgium Hennadii Pampukha reviewed the economies of these countries and spoke about the specifics of doing business. He noted that according to statistics in 2014, Belgium's exports to Ukraine amounted to more than $ 200 million, and imports $ 300 million. Belgium, despite being a small country, is highly technological. They are primarily interested in software products and IT business. As in many European countries, it has a fairly high tax burden on business. A representative of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce in Poland and Belgium compared the business in these countries and noted that for his legalization in Poland conditions in comparison with the Belgian requirements are much easier and faster.
