The IV Annual Russian in-house counsel summit

Gennadiy Pampukha, the President of the European arbitration chamber, actively participated in the Adam Smith Conferences' IV Annual RUSSIAN IN-HOUSE COUNSEL SUMMIT "Increasing the efficiency of your legal department in a post-crisis environment", which took place on the 2nd-4th of June 2010 in the Marriott Grand Hotel, Moscow, Russia.
On June 2, 2010 the special interactive seminar on legal outsourcing took place, where the question of maximum value capture from the cooperation with external consultants was discussed. This training was prepared by one of the best international specialists - Julia Chain, Managing Director of Huron Consulting Group. Sergey Kovalev, PRINCIPIUM Managing Partner, member of the European arbitration chamber and arbitrator of the International Commercial Arbitration Court under the EAC, took part in the Section 1 of the Seminar. In the discussion the leading Russian lawyers took part: Dmitry Timofeev (Rosinter Restaurants Holding), Igor Blinov (Troyka Dialog), Maria Shlyapina (VTB Capital), Elena Kashirina (McDonalds), Evgeni Tilezhinski (General Motors) and others.
On June 3, 2010 the representatives of regulatory bodies had the opportunity to tell about the latest trends and developments in legislation and the lawyers of leading companies made reports on the successful operating strategies in the modern conditions.
Among the speakers there were the heads of legal departments of such organizations: FAC RF, Mineral and Chemical Company EuroChem, Gazprom Media Holding, 36.6 Pharmacy Chain, Rusal, Wimm Bill Dann, General Motors, Coca-Cola Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and others. Gennadiy Pampukha was the moderator of Session 1 "The latest trends and developments in Russian legislation". Sergey Kovalev made the report "Reformation of corporate law - what Russian lawyers should expect".
On June 4, 2010
there was the opportunity to listen to the management of the International Compliance Association, the Secretariat of the Energy Charter Treaty and the US Chamber of Commerce in RF about the global perspectives of Russia at the international market and to communicate with the best specialists on live questions in the informal setting of round tables.
The leaders of round tables were the heads of legal services of the Russian Federation leading companies: Nestle Russia and Eurasia, X5 Retail group, TeliaSonera, DeltaCredit, Wimm Bill Dann and others. The moderator of the section "Strategy and tactics: how to ensure stable business development" was Sergey Kovalev. Gennadiy Pampukha made the report "Alternative commercial disputes resolution. Brussel's experience".
