The International Competition on Commercial Arbitration, which is held under the auspices of the European Arbitration Chamber has begun.
The official presentation on the EAC Moot Court 2014 took place on December 13th.
This competition is held by the European Arbitration Chamber for the third time. It is based on the model in international arbitration proceedings (under the rules of the ICAC under the EAC).
At the appointed time in the Institute of International Relations of National Taras Shevchenko were brought together teams of universities from Belgium, Poland, Romania, Italy, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as jury members, lawyers, attorneys, international arbitrators and honored guests.

The competition is going to be serious - said in his opening speech the President of the European Arbitration Chamber Gennady Pampukha. - But I am sure that all of you will find excellent knowledge of the subject, prove that you all have serious professional aspirations, ability to navigate in any difficult situation, to find the only correct solution.
The presentation of the contest was attended by EAC's President Gennady Pampukha, head of the EAC's representative office in Ukraine Konstantin Pilkov, the head of the National Expert Commission for the protection of public moral Kostitsky Vasil, Vice President of Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Korotetskiy Vasil, Representative of ICC Ukraine Dmitriy Evdokimov, Executive Secretary of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine Yatsenko Vladimir, Partner ILG «AstapovLawyers» Oleg Beketov.
After the presentation of the teams and greetings from honored guests, the drawing of the teams defined the following pairs of opponents:
The names of the winners will be determined in March 2014. All participants of the competition will have an opportunity to have their internship in the leading law firms of Europe and the world.
