Dear Colleagues, we are glad to invite you to the 13th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “Construction and real estate: expertise and appraisal” and INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM «Expert witnesses and evidence in arbitration and ADR».

The event will be held 26-27 November 2015 in Prague.

The Conference is supported by the European Arbitration Chamber and EuroExpert.

The 13th Conference is devoted to expert witnesses and evidence in arbitration in construction disputes. Considerable attention will be paid to the role of judicial expertise in international commercial disputes. A special  attention will be paid to different forms of participation of experts in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The conference is intended for practicing experts in the field of construction and real estate appraisal, practicing lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, corporate counsel, academics and professionals interested in and/or involved in construction expertise and arbitration.

Keynote  themes:

1. International and domestic arbitration procedure and use of experts. Evidence and use of experts in arbitration and ADR.
2. Collection and presentation of evidence in pre-trial and trial stages of arbitration in various domestic and international arbitration courts.
3. Legislative regulation of expert activities, harmonization of international and national legislation in the field of expertise. Training, certification and accreditation of experts in different countries.
4. International and national registers of court experts.
5. Methods of construction expertise. Construction expertise standards and remuneration of experts.
6. Specialized software systems of construction expertise, construction audit and control in arbitration and ADR as a source of evidence.
