On December 15, the presentation of the V International Competition on Commercial Arbitration took place in Kyiv (Ukraine). The competition is held by the EAC.

This year, teams from universities in Kyiv, Odessa, Uzhgorod, Chernivtsi and Ostrog sent applications for participation in the competition.

The President of the European Arbitration Chamber Hennadii Pampukha addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He shared a short excursion into the history of the creation and development of the contest, and also gave valuable advice to the contestants.

Participants of the competition were also congratulated by the first vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of KNTEU Natalia Pritulska.

With the best wishes of success and victory in the competition, the Ukrainian Bar Association for Foreign Affairs Mykola Pavlov spoke. A member of the jury, lawyer Tatyana Lezhukh, congratulated participatns and wished success.

As part of the presentation of the competition, a public announcement of the task of the contest was made, which this year was prepared by lawyers of the company Kinstellar Nikita Nota and Mariana Antonovich.

The contest will take place in several stages - the preparation of written works and oral debates. Participation in this educational project gives students the opportunity to try on not only the role of real legal advisors to companies, but also arbitrators.

This year the teams presented creative and interesting presentations of their alma mater.

In the framework of the presentation, a draw was also conducted, as a result of which the following pairs of opponents were determined:
    National University of Internal Affairs Vs. National University "Odessa Law Academy"

  •     Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics Vs. Odessa National University named after Mechnikov I.I.
  •     Uzhgorod National University Vs. Chernivtsi National University named after Fedkovych Y.
  •     National University Ostroh Academy Vs. Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
