GENERAL MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN ARBITRATION CHAMBER HELD IN BRUSSELS
On April 7, 2026, the General Meeting of the members of the European Arbitration Chamber (EAC) was held in Brussels, bringing together representatives of the professional community of international arbitrators and experts from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.

Beware Fraud
The Secretariat of the European Arbitration Chamber (EAC) has been made aware of fraudulent letters and documents falsely stating to be issued by or associated with the EAC or/and International Commercial Arbitration Court under the EAC (ICAC). These scams, which may attempt to obtain money and/or personal details from recipients, are fraudulent. The Secretariat of the EAC warns the public about these fraudulent activities and urges vigilance against various fraud schemes misusing name of the EAC. We strongly advise recipients of such fraudulent communications to exercise extreme caution. Transferring money or personal information to scammers can result in financial loss or identity theft. In the event of receiving suspicious letters containing statements about the existence of arbitration proceedings and allegedly coming from the EAC or the ICAC, we recommend that you immediately contact the EAC Secretariat to verify the authenticity of the information. The European Arbitration Chamber has reported these fraudulent activities to the relevant law enforcement authorities, including the criminal police.
Meeting between the EAC and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center
A meeting took place between the leadership of the European Arbitration Chamber (EAC) and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center (ITOTAM), during which participants discussed prospects for cooperation.

Memorandum on cooperation between EAC and EDAC
The European Arbitration Chamber is pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation and partnership memorandum with Energy Disputes Arbitration Centre (Turkey). The parties agreed on joint activities aimed at developing commercial arbitration, mediation and expertise, as well as conducting of joint events in the field of alternative dispute resolution, in particular, in the energy sector.

The delegation of the European Arbitration Chamber visited Istanbul
The delegation of the European Arbitration Chamber at a special invitation of Mr. Yusuf Kuleč visited Istanbul during the official visit to Turkey. The purpose of the visit is establishment of international cooperation in the field of commercial arbitration, educational projects for lawyers, as well as promotion the system of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) of commercial disputes in Turkey.

On March 23, 2018 the Final and the solemn ceremony of awarding the participants of the V International Competition on Commercial Arbitration was held. The organizer of the moot court competition is the European Arbitration Chamber (Brussels, Belgium).
